Complete Matrix free Animatrix problems

1637 Views 11 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  Tes7769
I tried to download the Animatrix(via 360 Xbox Live) using the free code that comes with all the Complete Matrix sets, and was surprized that the code doesn't work, at least not yet.Either there is a problem with the code(s) or they aren't making the Animatrix avvailable for download until the official release dates of the "Complete" boxed sets next Tuesday.

Anyone tried their's yet and had anything different or similar happen?

It probably won't work until the 22nd the official release day.
That is what i was thinking, though they have been adding Matrix content like video clips,an HD DVD trailer, and a new Matrix theme for 150 XBL points, and other content since Tuesday. Not sure if the Animatrix will be released like this or not.

Anyone else try their code yet?
Iv no luck either. I'm guessing (hopeing) its up after the 22nd.
Anyone know if it'll be in HD? If so, would this then make getting the complete version better than the ultimate version?
Does anyone know if it is a rental or a keeper?
Rent it and then make your decision. I borrowed it from the library about a year ago. (FREE!)

Lot's of cool and trippy animations based around The Matrix interpretations. A lot of background music too.

I will DL from XBOX Live!, but you probably want the disc for the menu/ scene selections.

Clarification: Via live do you get to keep the material or does it expire after you watch it?

It's a LOT better than the 2nd and 3rd films IMHO. (in many people's, actually...)

He was wondering if you keep the movie or does it expire like all the other movies on xbox live. I, too am wondering this. It would be pointless to just give us a free rental for a movie that can be bought for less than $5.
Whoops! Thought he was inquiring about whether the film itself was worthy of a rental or was a "keeper"

damned ADD addled brain of mine...

I'd guess that it's a keeper.Imo It wouldn't really be much of a bonus if all it turns out to be is a rental.
