Looking at the component cables from our site sponsors and noticed there is a HUGE difference in price. Is there a difference in performance?


Seems strange the price of the HDMI cables are close but the component is way off. One is almost 45 dollars more.

Not much difference in quality. If you have HDMI I would go HDMI than over component.

I have HDMI for my xbox but I have to use component for my Tivo and my Wii.

Cable box/DVR > Component

DVD/Blu-ray/HD-DVD > HDMI

i believe there are high quality component cables you can buy at a reasonable prices...but they won't be from monster...i have bought some (not monster) but can't say with scientific exactitude there's any visible difference to my aging eyes...
