I just bought a Wii for my wife and am trying to push both the audio and video to our Onkyo TX-SR604 receiver. I've got the audio plugged into Video 2's sound, and it's coming through fine. I've got the Component plugged into Component 2 and I cannot get a picture. Can I even switch component in --> HDMI out with my receiver??

Now, I've got HDMI-Out running to a Toshiba 42HL67 TV's HDMI In 1.

Is there some sort of setting I'm completely missing? Am I just wiring it all wrong? I know the component cables work fine, plugging them straight into the TV works, I just don't know how to get everything into the receiver...

Help = much appreciation!! I'm feeling Wiitarded!

On page 5 of the manual where it lists the specif audio/video features it stated svideo / composite video conversion, nothing about component to HDMI. I don't think it does it.

On page 32 of the manual it clearly states:

Composite video,

S-Video, and component video input signals

are not output by the HDMI OUT

So I'll have to go with component out?
