You need to get a good set of component cables so you can run progressive scan.Also you would get two much with 2 plugs.Component uses 3 video and 2 audios.

Component hook up question for LCD
Dumb question, but before I head out to buy new cables for an LCD set due to arrive (presently have no display that uses component hook ups but I do have DVD players which have them available) can I use good stereo cables for this or do they need to be specific component hook up cables? Don't they all use RCA plugs and jacks?
