Alright here is the list of items I am using.

Toshiba 65HDX82 RPTV

Pioneer Elite VSX-36TX Receiver

Nintendo Gamecube (Component source #1)

Scientific Atlanta 3250HD Cable Box (Component source #2)

here is the situation. I recently got a Gamecube and I went ahead and ordered the Component Output for it, and planned on using the switching capabilities of the Pioneer to go between the cable Box and the Gamecube. (DVI is currently used by DVD player, Component input two on TV is used for computer)

Hooked everything up, Gamecube works great...cable box does not. I could switch between all of my hardware, with the exception of the cable box. A bit perplexed I hooked the cable box back up as a direct connection. Still did not work. So check my deductive reasoning skills. HDTV is OK, as the Gamecube displayed fine through the first set of component inputs. The Pioneer is OK, as it switches between all of my hardware. So it is a problem with the cble box? I have unplugged it and pluggeed it back in and i can see the scientific atlanta logo, but the screen is all distorted and messed up.

Any help would be appreciated
