i say yes, especially if you are using a projector.
others will say no, but i firmly believe if you have everything calibrated right, you should see a definite improvement in shaprness, picture depth, and color accuracy.
When I switched from component to DVI on my Sony LCD RP, I noticed little difference in HD picture quality - the picture settings needed adjusting, after that it looked as good or slightly better than component.
Where I really saw the difference was in SD channels. The analog SD channels went from awful to almost watchable - a big improvement.
I say if you have the inputs, it's worth purchasing a DVI cable to see for yourself.
We compared RGB (the standard cable from a computer to monitor) to DVI on the Zenith SAT520 and the DVI is much clearer, which was somewhat surprising to me.
