My setup is this: 12 foot cable with 3 RCA (component) to VGA cable running from my receiver to my VGA wall jack, then a 50' long VGA cable to the projector. Will an analog component signal carry over 60' of VGA cable well or is that pushing it too far? I bought the 50' cable while building my HT because I got a really good deal on it...not ever thinking it might be too long. I know I would need a video booster if I was going VGA over that cable, but not sure about component. I am setting up my equipment now and need to know If I have to buy a shorter cable.
