I have reviewed a bunch of posts about the trials and tribulations of connecting a PC to a Sony GW-III through DVI, and I have 3 questions:

1. Is there a simple-to-follow guide that presents the solutions for direct DVI to DVI connection?

2. Has anyone tried using a DVI-Component converter, and if so, what were the results?

3. Has anyone tried using the component video outputs on their video card instead of DVI?

Yes I use the component adapter with my 9800pro to my GWIII. I don't use the straight DVI connection because it has the black crush issue with my HDTV wonder card which I can not tolerate. I used 1280x720 before and that was great. However, the new Cat 4.10 drivers for the ATI card gives me great results at 1776x1000(1080i). You have to eliminate overscan by going into the TV's service menu(This voids your warranty) but it looks great.
