Hi,

I just got an older monitor that uses composite sync. I have heard about a couple ways to combine sync. One way is just to throw a 1k resistor on the H line and one on the V line and tie them together to make somposite sync.

Another is to use an XOR gate. But to do this I would have to amplify the signal to 5V (for TTL), run them through the gate, and then bump it back down to 0.7V.

Will either of these techniques work for a high frequency signal(1204x768 or more)?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
