Concerning the Pio 5070...

620 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  RomanInvision
Being that it is a 720 set, will I still get the benefit of Blue Ray or HD DVD at a distance of 12-15 feet?

How would the 6070 do from that distance?

Also, how is it different from the 5071?

Thanks.

Concerning #1, am I getting the full benefit or just better than SD DVD?

Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the response.

You will be seeing 768P, the HD DVD's and Blue ray are 1080i/1080P

So you wont being seeing the "full benefit", your tv will down scale it from 1080i/1080p to 768p

I own the 5070 and the Toshiba A2, and I might not be getting the full benefit, but from 10 feet on a 50" screen, the picture quality is amazing!

You will benefit as you will be watching movies in HD and that will look a lot better than SD movies.
6070HD with Blue Ray in the show room looks amazing.
