Audio Gurus ; I need technical advise as well as feasibility and cost effectiveness ?.


I have some super speakers ( they were 20 years ago ) upon close


inspection , I noticed the material which allows cone to reverberate ;


where it's held in suspension on the outer portion of the basket has gone


south ( Deteriorated ) . How or where do I have them repaired or purchase


the material so I can do them myself ?. I'm Real Handy and have Experts


who can help if I flounder . ( I prefer not to seek their help unless all other


avenues are exhausted first )


Cones dust caps coils all just fine . I would do a pair of Spk. rather than just


the one which rotted ; So #2 -15" Woofs , # 2 -5" mid range Tweets look


OK .


Might swap tweets with Piezo's Don't know if that's advisable either ?.

Thanks ; although I was hoping for a more personal recommendation as to the quality


of Kits in particular . There seems to be several " Parts suppliers ", however A Reputable


outfit with quality components would be extremely useful . I figured with all these "


Tech Experts " someone would zero me in . So far I've learned most Professionals use


Orange County Spk Repair out in Calif. . So I guess that's where I'll go also .
