I just updated my PS3 and the expanded color range worked and it made a huge improvement

Someone needs to start an owners thread for the HLT Lamp series TVs; I went on a gut instinct for the 1.3 and lucky for me it has it
Overall Great TV! I had a sammy hls 5087 before and the improvements are incredible!

Thats called deep color. which is completly different.

Very nice clear detailed PQ compared to other DLP's at CC which were all in one row with same program material. Only 10+ inches deep.

yeah your confusing the RGB color settings with deep color. deep color is an hdmi 1.3 option not that RGB setting on the PS3. the RGB setting full lets u view shades right before black and white. 0 - 256. the limited lets u view 16-240. so you shoudl prolly be using full for on Tv regardless of the HDMI version
