I need help on this. I'm spec-ing my HTPC and am looking to use DScaler. I understand that there can be separate video and tuner/capture cards in an HTPC. Does Dscaler only affect my choice of tuner/capture card and I am free to pick any (non-combo) video card?


While we're on this topic, assuming that DScaler only affects tuner/capture card, is there a DScaler alternative if a tuner/capture card that I prefer is not supported?
