I had to stop by a customers house today to reprogram a remote. He had just picked up a Tivo Series 3 HD PVR. He also has a Series 2 non HD PVR that he would like to keep in there (because his wife likes to record 3 things at one). The issue I am having is in that the remote codes are all the same, so he cannot control one box or the other, just both. I am not aware if you can daisy chain the two boxes together, or if there is some other solution. I honestly do not know Tivo's that well, so I would appreciate some help from someone more knowledgeable on the subject.
