So recently I got a new TV and everything setup to one powerbar on one outlet.. I'm using an older Belkin SurgeMaster Powerbar (around 8 years old)..

I've got the following devices hooked up to this one powerbar.

Samsung LN40A530 TV

Scientic Atlanta HD PVR

Regular DVD player

Playstation 3

Xbox 360

Pioneer VSX-516 Receiver

My question is, is this powerbar sufficient to power all these devices? I won't be turning on ALL the devices at the same time.. Or should I invest in a better powerbar?

Well,

Most power bars have an internal circuit breaker at some predetermined amperage say 10,15, or 20 amps. I would say if the internal circuit breaker doesn't trip when you have all of your equipment up and running then you "should" be set. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Of course this is just my humble opinion. FWIW

Thanks for the advice.. I also forgot to mention that the On/Off switch on the power bar does have a light.. But the light flickers.. I dont know whether if its due to unconsistant power? or just crapped out light.. It powers all my devices fine.. I'd like to go with ur advice of "if it aint broke, dont fix it".. But I have been meaning to replace this bar..

Would you happen to have any recommendations on a decent budget power bar for my needs?

What is you buget? There are several on Amazon from several manufactures available for 40 to 4000. If your thinking 40 more than 4000 there are a couple from PureAv/Belkin, and Acoustic Research for less than to right around 100 bucks.
