I may have a very basic question, but the more that I read, the more I am confused. I have a pioneer PDP-503CMX with the PDA 5002 video card and I just upgraded to the Dish Network PVR 942. I have set this box up 40-45 feet away from the monitor and I need to figure out how to connect them. I have read about signal loss, but have seen cables that are 50' in length. I see the HDMI output and the Digital RGB input. What is an acceptable length for the cable. Obviously I want to not move anything, but if the signal will not work at this length, then I need to.

What is a max length I should consider or will I be fine?

Thank you,

Thom

I have spent hours searching for a previous thread on this, but no luck.
