I'm sorry to start a new thread, but I searched threads and none addressed my problem.
I have Logitech's Z-2300 speakers. I know these are not designed to connect to TV, but I'm using a 2 male to 1 female 3.5mm jack RCA adapter.
My TV is a Panasonic Viera TC-P42X1 and I have a Comcast HD cable box.
I connected the RCA adapter to the audio outputs on cable box and this initially worked perfectly as long as I disabled the TV speakers. After disconnecting from the cable box to use the speakers with my DVD player, I reconnected to the cable box and now I'm only getting sound out of one speaker and the sub-woofer is barely giving bass. The other speaker just has "noise" coming through.
There is nothing wrong the speakers, because if I connect them directly to my iPod, they work perfect. I've tried a brand new RCA cable and switched my cable box. I have no idea what the problem is and I've tried everything I could think of.
Can anyone help me, please?
