Hello to all of our members, and thank you for reading this post.

What is the preferred method to wirelessly connect my network receiver (Yamaha RX-V3800) to my home network. My router is located on a different floor and about forty feet from my network receiver. My wife keeps nagging me about the existing wires, I would prefer not to open the walls to place the cables, because that would create some problems, which are best left undisturbed.

Is there some device that I can connect to my receiver, router and/or switch, effectively eliminating the cable(s) that would normally be required. Or an adapter like the one that can be connected to a desktop, that allows wireless communication with your router?
