hey guys im new here but i have a question. i bought a logitech 5.1 surround sound system from a buddy for 20$ to compliment the flat screen i got for christmas. the only problem is that the system is made for a computer and the input wires look like headphone cables- a green, tan, and black one. is there anyway to make this compatible with the red and white output from my component cable? i havent found anything online but im by no means an expert on this issue hah. thanks for the help!

You won't be able to get all speakers working with the red/white jacks the TV has, only a pair of them and maybe the sub. You'll have to piece mill some 3.5 mm headphone jack to RCA adapters, and maybe a splitter or two, to make it work.
