I have a Denon AVR-5700 that I want to uprgrade with something compareable or better. I have Mitsubishi WD-57731 1080P TV, a HD-DVD player, a Dish Network 622 HD receiver, an Xbox 360 that I would like to have operate in full surround sound. My front speakers will take 300 watts so the Denon AVR-4806CI sounds ideal. Is it worth the money, or would I be better off getting the Pioneer Elite VSX-84TXi?

I am retired Army so can get a really good deal on both, so price is not an issue. Which one is the most reliable and is easy to set up and operate, will be more of my liking. My old AVR-5700 was not that easy to set up, and the on screen set up menu is not operational when I am watch 1080i or better. Do I have to get out of HD or 1080i to view my receiver set up menu?

These are a few of my concerns, and any opinions would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks Henry
