Considering dumping my Sony XBR910...

It looks like at least another year in this 10'x10' windowless Brooklyn catbox that passes for a living room. Our Sony XBR910 has been very good to us, but I am starting to get claustrophobic. The picture quality is excellent, but I am considering picking up one of the Westinghouse 42" 1080p LCDs I've been reading so much about. It could hang on the wall, and at only 4.5" deep, we could free up nearly two feet of valuable floor space.

My only concern really is the black level. I am by no means a videophile, but I am a little concerned that the picture on any LCD will seem washed out compared to my CRT. Will there be *that* much of a difference? Anyone out there with a CRT and an LCD (perhaps even these same models?) care to chime in? I'm looking for measured comparisons from folks familiar with both, not bashing of one technology or the other. Thanks!
