When I turned on my TV last night, a DirecTV message was displayed at the bottom of the screen that said, "Contact customer service to activate," but before I could figure out what it was referring to, the message went away, and I could not duplicate the message no matter what I did. Everything seems to be working fine, and I have no email waiting for me. Does anyone know what this likely referred to? I had hoped it was to activate ESPN-HD, but I'm sure if that was it, there would be a zillion posts on the AVS HDTV Programming forum talking about it. For what it's worth, my DirecTV receiver is the ProScan PSHD-105 (clone of the RCA DTC-100).

Dumb luck probably. Some IRD's just tend to go goofy. I had an RCA do the same thing to me one day. Turned it off, back on, no problems since. Chalk it up to dumb luck. IF it continues I'd call CSR and see what the issue is.
