Does anybody have a good code set for the Sony VPLVW50 for Universal Remote or a Pronto?

I was wanting to find the discrete inputs for all the inputs. I still have not found the HDMI2 discrete code, but I have a work around for what I wanted. I copied the 'standard' discrete codes from remotecentral.com for a sony projector. Then when I need the HDMI2 input, I use a very simple macro - switch discretely to HDMI1 and then send the input button code.


Working with my B&W pronto last night made me want a new color one....

I can show you where you might start looking, but I don't have an exact answer. You can check here . I would guess that HDMI2 would be one of the newer ones that are in either 151 or 119 device, most likely device 151, command 66 (Video 7), using Sony15 protocol.


If you have a JP1 remote, it's fairly easy to program this in. If you have Pronto, go to this page on the above site and click on the "How to use these codes with a Pronto remote" link on the bottom to use these codes. I don't know how you use these codes on Harmony.

The 151 codes work on my pearl just fine...

Did you read the link on that page "How to use these codes with a Pronto remote" ? You need to get a small utility call "Makehex" use that to generate the codes. For example, using Makehex I got device 151, command 66 is:
