For many who own equipment with RGBHV inputs such as the original DWIN Transcanner and HD700 the only way to get High Definition is through the RGBHV inputs. Most source devices use YPrPb or DVI. Is there a device I can buy to convert these to RGBHV?

If the DVI output from the source is DVI-I, it carries both digital and analog signals, and you can use a DVI-I to 15-pin female VGA adapter plus a 15-pin male VGA to 5-RCA or -BNC cable. These are available from a number of sources.

Hope this helps!

I see in their add it says that it will handle 480p to RGBHV. Will it handle 720p and 1080i on new PVR's?

Thanks a million for the info.

Damn. I have a M8000 CRT and will be getting the DCT-5100 next week. I was hoping they would have gone down in price since last I looked. Makes me want to upgrade my pj. :(
