Was wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations on converting a composite to s-video. I've seen a few products out there ranging from $1000 to $20. I would like to spend as little as possible but don't want the signal to be junk in the end.. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Vinny

BTW - I am doing this to faciliate a connection between cable company box and to my Onkyo 600 so that it only has to output s-video to a panny plasma which will only accept either composite or s-video but not both.

I've been using the Monster Cable one for a while--I think it was $100. Works fine for me (converting the output of my SuperBeta VCR). Whether it's any better than the cheaper ones that have come out more recently, I don't know.

I'm not sure they're making it any longer--the only one on their website is the $130 Entech version.
