Converting analog cable to digital TV (HELP)

415 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Hemi
Hi, I recently bought a SONY PFM42V1 and would like to continue analog cable for now. How can I best convert the signal. Currently using rca to s-video cable with no intermediate.

Looks pretty ugly.. Any ideas?

If your cable box has component video connections, use them. You also might want to try a composite set-up...the old red-white-yellow connectors. Some have reported better results with them than with s-video.

I would also try and calibrate (adjust) the picture settings on the Sony with either Video Essentials or Avia through the inputs that you watch the cable with (i.e. composite and/or S-Video)
