Converting .mov to .MTS... XA10

699 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Steve Cebu
Hey all.

I edited the footage I need. But now I would like to put it back onto the camera so I can play it out to the HDTV through the camera.

The problem is converting back to the .MTS files that the XA10 uses.

Does anyone know how i can do this?

Thanks

If your editing software doesn't have an option to render the edited footage in MTS then really your only option is to use a video converting software that can convert the video to MTS.

You might be better finding a different way to play your videos on your TV. Connect your pc to your tv? play the video with a ps3/xbox/blu-ray player.

Unless you took the file off using the software provided by the camcorder maker (Canon) you probably won't get the camera to recognize the file again.

You would think a file named say 00000.MTS would be recognized, but not so.

It's not easy to fool the camera into seeing those files again.
