Thanks to this forum I have been able to record video from my Motorola DCT 6412 via firewire to my laptop. The MPEG 2 files are too large for burning to a DVD if the program is any reasonable length. I can't seem to find software to convert the MPEG 2 to another format. Is there an alternative? I'm using CapDVHS.
