Convince Me To Finalize On Samsung LN-T5265F ...

I've been driving myself insane going through the threads here looking at the possible issues of this TV (vs. Sony KDL-52W3000), and would like to pull the trigger on buying it, but keep procrastinating based on what I've read. If I'm going to buy it, I gotta do it this week as it's on sale at the place I've been looking, and I'm closing on my house in a couple of days ... should I go for it?

Both are great panels so buy the one that favors your viewing environment conditions and viewing style but to ask us to pick for you when you'll just get a concensus for owners of each that has a bias one way or the other has little validity to match your eyes and viewing conditions of your new home.

The Sony will have a matte screen and may display SD better than the Samsung if that even matters in your viewing room and preferences which we have no way of knowing.

Don't buy until one says "BUY ME" to your eyes not ours and you may end up with a 71 series or an XBR4
. View until you have a panel that makes you want to be married to it's view for many years to come even if it costs more amortize/prorate it over 8-10 yrs and have no buyers remorse.

What do you we need to convince you of? You are already set on the 65F, so go buy it!
I would go with the Sony W3000 because of the glare issues with the reflective screen on the Sammy 65F.
