Please forgive me if this question has been asked and answered already, if that is the case just point me in the direction of the answer.
I recently purchased a DVD recorder for my computer and am having problems copying a DVD of my wedding. The DVD was made by my videographer but I can tell by looking at the disc that it is just a 4X Verbatim DVD-R. Their DVD plays fine in both my computer DVD drive and my standalone Panasonic DVD player. I have tried to copy their DVD using three different software programs and two different brands of DVD-R's and can not get a single copy to work in my standalone DVD player. The DVD player will attempt to read the copies, but to no avail. All the copies work fine in my DVD recorder.
Do I just need to buy different DVD-R discs, maybe the Verbatim? Maybe there is something that I am doing wrong during the burning process. I have never gotten any error messages while burning and I don't believe that the original disc is copy-protected but I am really not sure how to tell.
I appreciate any info/advice you can offer.
Thanks,
Ryan
