I have bought some movies from the PlayStation Store and of course they were downloaded to my PS3 hard drive. I want to know if there is any way to copy those movies to my portable hard drive. I've looked in the menu but I was wondering if there's a hack to make it happen.

correct. you can't back them up or re-download them, either. Yep, even the ones you own.
Well, sony may let you redownload once, but you have to ask nicely. Compared to the Xbox with unlimited re-downloads the PSN video store is a terrible deal.
Moral: Buy the DVD and rip it. Of course, thanks to our new VP, that's illegal.
