i need some help from you guys....something is bugging me and i need more info the the 7669 hd patterns on certain blu rays???

What does this do???

How will this affect my display???

i did it but just saw the patterns run through its cycle....i did not alter anything.

i know to some this will be stupid questions???but i would appreciate any and all

replies.

once i run this code and enter....then what do yo do??or does happen

Those patterns are more for advanced users.

I would buy DVE or Avia to do a basic calibration.... even the THX test patterns would point you in the right direction.

thanks for the reply....question....if i did this pattern once but did not alter anything at all and just let the cycle finish...was my picture in any way altered just by that??

No, the pattern cannot actually alter the settings on your TV... YOU have to do that. The calibration images are there to assist you in adjusting the TV. Nothing happens automatically.
