I have a HTPC and will be buying an M-Audio audiophile sound card. I will be connecting my computer to an Onkyo 797 6.1 THX digital receiver. Could any of you give me recommendations on a decent coaxial cable that is not too expensive? I am going to need about a 50 foot cable, so the coaxials running $70 a foot are not really an option. I know this is not an advertising board, so I don't want to promote any products. Therefore if you could send me a personal email at [email protected] it would be much appreciated :)

mikhail77,

Digital audio uses 75 Ohm coaxial cable, exactly the same as is used for video. RG-6 should work just fine. If your room is electrically noisy, quad shielding might be appropriate, but you'd be noticing that problem in your video, too.
