I've followed Wayne Harrelson's guide to setting up PowerStrip to do custom timings for tvs ( http://www.digitalconnection.com/Sup...ffnotes_17.htm ) but am still having some difficulties. I've got the 856x484p resolution with no over/underscan vertically and only a minimal underscan on the sides. I have a Radion AIW 7500 and a Panasonic 56" RPTV.

1. Has anyone setup a 720 resolution without (or at least minimal) overscan?

2. Is there a way to have windows resize the desktop to buffer the screen? For example, output 1024x768p but buffer the edges so that only a 800x600 desktop is shown. In this case there would be 112 empty pixes above and below the desktop and 84 pixels on the sides.

3. What do you do when all you want to do is take an s-video input, scale it using dscaler and output the signal? In this case, overscan is not that big of an issue.

I would like to be able to play some games on the computer that require a standard resolution. Also, since my tv accepts 720p signals, it would be nice to have the extra desktop space for things like browsing the web.

Thanks for any responses,

Jason
