Looks like this is the beginning of local HDTV productions by CPTV (Connecticut Public Television) / WEDW-DT channel 52

http://www.cptv.org , just a reference for those who are not familiar with CPTV.

Normally, WEDW-DT shows the PBS high definition demo loop from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Monday thru Sunday, but tonight, 1/27/04 for the first time CPTV/ WEDW-DT is showing a local "near" high definition program and not the high definition demo loop.

CPTV/WEDW-DT schedule normally show WEDW-DT1 to WEDW-DT4 during the day, and only WEDW-DT1, showing the PBS high definition demo loop, at night, but tonight there is only WEDW-DT1 showing a local "near" high definition program, 14x9 aspect ratio, and the other multicast stations are off as usual.

Could this be the beginning of something new from CPTV? or should we now call them CP-hd-TV .
