I remember reading that the Crackdown demo was being released around the 18th of this month. Any idea if this is true? It's snowing today in Texas and everything is closed/shut down and I'm unable to go see Pan's Labyrinth and Curse of the Golden Flower, so I'm indeed pissed and being able to play this demo will indeed raise my depressed spirit.

Crackdown Demo Pushed Back

Certification taking longer than planned?


As the mid-January timeframe for the demo of Crackdown has come and gone, Microsoft sends word on why they missed: the demo is still in final stages of the certification process and scheduled for release before the end of January -- 14 days from now.


You'll probably just be buying this to get access to the Halo 3 beta, anyway, but thankfully the game's supposed to be pretty good. The real problem here is when Microsoft and Real Time Worlds jointly announced the demo would be arrive January 18th, you'd think they could prepare accordingly. Did they just forget to loop the right people in?

FYI, dont see golden flower. It was nowhere near as good as his other movies. In fact, it was REALLY lame

Oh, drag. I'll just see Pan's Labyrinth twice then. Once, if perhaps, the demo comes out tomorrow, if not, then twice.
