Hi everyone!


Recently I noticed this crackling noise from my player through both speakers and headphone while listening music. I put the same cd in my blu-ray player and everything was quiet. I haven't changed the interconnect to make sure if it has something to do with this unwanted noise.

Is there someone out there with the same or similar (DX1) player who experienced the same problem? What advice can you guys give me?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Ok, it looks like I have to replace the capacitors. There are 8 and I checked them with my finger very carefully. One of them was pretty loose and with a very little effort it broke off. I'm going to replace all 8. They are 2200 uf 25V type and about 16mm x 26 or 25mm capacitors. Does it make any difference if the new ones are longer? Need some help to find the best.

If capacitor fell off so easily, only God knows what else is not soldered properly. I still recommend to leave this thing behind and move on.
