Crazy Question Speakers for RV

I want to replace the stock 6-1/2" speakers that are in our RV and add a couple. Wondering if you can run a home audio in ceiling type speaker from what is basically a car audio player? It is hard to find car audio speakers with white grills, I know I could paint them. But their are lots of home theater in ceiling speakers that are white and would fit the bill.

Or give me a good mid price speaker that will do what I want, their are literally 100's of them and I don't know where to start. These will be for music and the TV will go through them also.

If rvs are anything like stock car audio anything after market is likely better. Were gonna need to know dimensions tho. How deep can the speakers be? In ceilings usually come with their own housings meant to attach to drywall so u may need to look at car audio gear. There are many to choose from, but again dofferent speakers have different size depths so we need to know what were working with.
It seems to me that most car audio speakers I have seen are 4 ohm and home type are 8 ohm. That will be a problem, if you are using head unit amps, probably not if you are using outboard amps. Paint the grills (or live with black ones, nothing wrong with a little contrast). There are excellent car audio speakers out there, ones I have enjoyed over the years have come from Boston Acoustics and Focal (especially Focal...) and JL Audio also makes good ones, as well as exceptional subs.

If there is room, you might be able to have someone fabricate a white grill to replace the stock grills that come with the speakers.

They are 6-1/2" speakers, I have about 3-1/2" of depth. Can't do enclosure behind, I think regular car audio is the way to go as John Sully said.
