Creative X-Fi Extreme Music switching between SPDIF and Analog 2.1

I use the Flexijack on my X-Fi to send a SPDIF pass-through to my receiver. I would also like to have my 2.1 Klipsch speakers hooked up at the same time and be able to switch between them at will. The only time I use the SPDIF is when I am watching movies on my TV so I would like to have my desktop speakers for gaming (and using the CMS-3D feature with my headphones) and music listening. Plus it sucks to have to get up and change inputs in my receiver anytime I want to hear my computer. I tried to set something up with the different modes like entertainment and gaming mode but they just seemed to overwrite each other. Maybe it can be done but I couldn't figure it out, that control panel program is a pain to navigate. Or maybe it is something easier that I am overlooking like muting the SPDIF, if that can be done. Any help is appreciated.
