Can the light switches for Prodigy communicate with a CP2E?

They're more reasonable priced. . .

I would add that I'm doing all retrofit. .

Prodigy switches will only work with Prodigy processore. It will not work with standard Crestron processors.

An easy way to check what is compatible and not is to try and use a CP2E in SIMPL Windows and try and drag and drop Prodigy Devices on it.. If it doesn't stick.. it wont work

I wish they would though.. .they are so much cheaper than regular dimmers and switches

According to our rep there will be lower cost dimmers for the Crestron (not Prodigy) line in the very near future.

How near of a future? I'm close to getting a Prodigy system and just use that stand alone for lighting/HVAC..


Don't want to do it if I can just wait and get some cheaper dimmers for my 2 series..
