Does anybody use or have any experience using this amp as a sub-amp? :) Thanx

The K-1 was sold by SVS in the past with some of their passive subs, so I assume it is a decent combination. The Crown K series is fanless which is a definite plus.
works like a champ. I used a K1 with a CS 16-46+. I now use two K1's to power four CS Ultra's. IMHO, the K1 is probably overkill with the CS + series. The cheaper Samson S500 works fine (which I also used)
I have the K1. As a sub amp, it is extremely good. It has a high damping factor that is perfect for controlling a sub. That and gobs of clean power.
I ran 4 SVS-2039+ subs on 2 channels of a SINGLE K-1 amp ran in parellel ( which makes a 2 ohm load on each channel I believe ) ..Hell, I couldnt even get the .5 disortion light to come on at reference levels :)
I have a K2 driving a VMPS LARGER- in a word it works.

One side does the 15" the other the 12". Both have mega woofers so large mass to move around. I think the amp could drive another LARGER in series- it just doesn't seem to be sweating even at reference levels
