What should I be using to clean the lenses on a CRT projector? I thought Radio Shack would have a CRT cleaner, but I couldn't find it in their catalog.

Kodak lens paper works well on the lenses. You can get it at a camera shop or online at...

You can use some Formula 409 or Windex on the tube faces and wipe them down with the lens paper as well it they are dirty. I wouldn't use it on the lenses though. I've heard that it can take color-correction coating off lenses (if they have coating). I don't know what liquid you would use on CC lenses.

Thanks for all of the great links!

Mike - Kodak - of course, why didn't I think of that.

Dave's "Ultracloth" sounds like it is worth a try.

I have used Windex on the face of the CRT tubes (not the lenses) with the tubes well masked. Thanks for the caution against using Windex (or 409) on the coated optics - Not something I would do, the thought of doing so makes me cringe. 409 is one of the stronger caustics available for household use.
