I just bought a GE Imager 601 and after removing the lenses I noticed the default spacers (according to the manual) had been replaced with the ones used to throw 200" diag (4:3 i assume) images.

I am going to throw an 80" 4:3 diag image so is it important that I have the correct spacers or should I not worry about it?

BTW does anyone know if the 100" spacers are thicker or thinner than the 200"

TeKP,

It makes a difference when you get to the 120" diag. range on corner focus. Ill swap you rings if thats helps.

All rings are based on 4:3 format, actually square to fit lens curvature sweet spot.

Never really measured the thickness at all four points. Doug [email protected]

I have a whole box full of those spacers. But if Doug wants to swap you a set, I won't spoil his fun.
