I am using a Crystal Image V4 to rn my G-70 teh last few weeks the unit will ot recognize the remote control whether it is the original remote or my Pronto Any ideas on what the problem might be and how to fix it? Dont want to drop a lot of money into this unit as i have been thinking about upgrading to the new Lumagen or DVDO

Unfortunately the company is no longer around ( as far as I know) who made that unit. Because you have two remotes with the proper codes and both are not working I think its a good guess the problem is the IR receiver.


Can it be controlled from the unit itself. You mentioned saving for an upgrade. Things are getting cheaper all the time. I think when you do make the move to replace the CI you will be surprised with the improvement in picture quality you will get with the new unit. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise.
