I have a good vph1271q. CS-1 did not enhance the video quality to my surprise. It looked worse to me. No matter what resolution I tried, picture looked fuzzy and dull.

The control of sharpness was only allowed with a composite video input. What am I doing wrong? Or did I misunderstood the functions of CS-1?

Does anybody want to buy this unit? I believe the warranty is transferable.

Thanks for any feed back.

What resolutions were you trying?

The 1271 does get very fuzzy if you drive it too hard and the lines touch.

Screen size, throw distance, screen gain, etc. all make a difference in just how high you can crank the res. Just going from 480i to 480p should be an impressive improvement however, 520P should be better still. As you go over this it really starts to show how well the pj is setup.

I used the resolution "_doubleTV" downloaded from Centerstage. I contacted the tech support this morning. It must be my PJ Iwas told. That could well may be. I am new with front CRT projectors and may have not focused in 33Khz scan rate. It could take me a while to achieve the reasonable focus to benefit from CS-1.

Thanks for all reply.

Have a nice day.
