I intend to buy the CS-2 when it comes out in September. I have installed an RGB cable and a component cable that I made.

I will be feeding a Hitachi 5500, and I watch a lot of cable, satellite, DVD, and will be watching HD when the new Dish/JVC PVR unit comes out. Tthe Hitachi has component, composite, RGB, and s-video inputs. It does not have RGBHV RCA or BNC input connections.

My questions are:

1.- Is this enough to get the best image out of the CS scalers?

2.- Do I need to install a BNC or RCA to RGB cable also?

Thank you.

you can go rgb to rgb

I have heard people have a problem with HD on the rgb input and component is betterin which case you can get a hd15 to component adapter or just make one.

My cs-1 should be here on Tuesday I will let you know how I make out

Thank you Socio and Tycoondog2.

I had seen Socio's previous posting about the cable, but was not sure of which ends you had. You are now very specific, VGA to component.
