Back again looking for some help from my compadres. I intend on calling Focus Enhancements tomorrow, but I wondered if anyone has experienced this issue before. I just set up my CS1 and was having a terrible time getting a picture using a Monster Component cable and the component input on my Toshiba SD2200 DVD player. I used the Y/Yb/Yr inputs on the CS1, and got absolutely no picture. After getting really frustrated, the little light bulb went on, and convinced me to try the Component RGB inputs, which cause a message to read "Vsync out of range" on my Electrohome 8110. The Toshiba SD2200 is a progressive scan DVD player, albeit 2d generation. Anyone have any thoughts on what I'm missing here? When I plug the component cable in to the standard RGB A/B jacks, I can get a picture. When I switch to any of the HD formats (780i, 780p, 1080i, 1080p) the picture turns green.

The good news is, the picture is absolutely stunning out of the RGB standard inputs, so I'm really jonesing to get this bad boy running right.

By default the CS-1 will output Component (Y/Yb/Yr) at the built in HD outputs namely 720P and 1080i. Your projector is most likely set for RGBHV input thus the green screen. Many of us have been there done that :) you have to change the color space on the CS-1 to output RGBHV but the catch is (at least for me) is that you have to do it via the latest FE S/W on a PC hooked up via the RS232 serial input of the CS-1. The remote or system menu buttons won't let you do this or at least easily. There are some threads on this somewhere here if you do a search.
