Hi, has anyone ordered/received any "custom" Home Theater DVD's from the following:

www.customht.com
www.digitalforge.com

Are there other places to get custom made DVD's?

I kinda like the digitalforge one because it can do DTS. (I have no idea what it really sounds like).

One other thing, is it possible to get the "DTS" intro that some commercial DVD's have? You know, the one that says like: Digitally mastered in DTS and then it plays a really loud and low "voom" sound? Like what's on Star Wars episode 2?

Kevin: Run a search in both current and archives of the HT accessories forum..THere were a couple fo huge threads that will cover most of the theater intros that you mentioned and a couple that will be new to you. There are reviews of each and some very cool custom ideas that a couple of the members did with the different companies.

I have tried to get info about digital forge's intros - what format they are in etc- and get no reply from any of their e-mail addresses. But the order portion seems to be working, with a no refund policy!!!!

Does anyone know if they are in business still and why the f**k they don't answer their mail?

In a perfect HT world, you have 2 DVD players - one with the intro, the other with the DVD qued up and ready to play!
