Custom Length Plug Wiring Question ...

Thanks for the help.

I just want to make sure I wired this shortened length projector plug/cord properly.



The cord has green, white, and black wires. Green (ground) wire is connected to green terminal in plug. Black wire is connected to gold terminal. White wire is connected to silver terminal.

Am I good to go?

You're good. Black = hot, white = neutral.
white always goes to the widest plug end. just align the W's. hard to tell from the picture what is gold and what is silver

Thanks but I needed a right angle plug due to limited space behind projector. The plug was expensive - $10 at Home Depot ...
