For those of you with CBS HD East or HD West does D* also give you the SD versions of CBS East and West (channels 380 and 381) once they activate the HD counteparts?

Thanks,

When my waiver was granted for CBS and they activated CBS HD for me, they also activated the SD CBS (380 and 381) and added the $2.99/month charge for the Distant Network feed without my knowledge. Since I didn't want or need the SD CBS feed, I called and asked them to remove it...they did and they credited my account for the days that I had 380/381 without knowing it. So now I have CBS HD (80) and NBC HD (82) without the SD versions (380/381 and 382/383).

If you have waivers or live in a white area and qualify for the Distant Network Signal (DNS) feeds, you get the East and West SD feeds and will also get the HD network (as available) feeds, both E and W if you add the HD package. If you only qualify for Network HD feeds because you live in an O-O area, you only get the HD feeds, not the SD (assuming that D* applies it's rules consistently).

When I "lived" at a white area address, I got CBS-SD E & W and CBS-HD E & W without subscribing to the HD package. (CBS-SD chs 380 & 381 and CBS-HD chs 80 & 81)
